Hey, I'm jamie sossamon
I started Fayetteville Divas in May 2014 with one simple idea—to create the kind of networking group I wished existed.
When I was a brand-new small business owner, I loved meeting new people and making connections, but I struggled to find a group that offered real opportunities to grow without expensive fees. So, I decided to start my own.
Fayetteville Divas is more than just a networking group—it’s a movement. We’re a community of fabulous women in business, coming together to connect, empower, and grow—without breaking the bank. Our events feature women-owned businesses for free, we raise money for local nonprofits, and we focus on teaching and empowering women to grow in all areas of their lives.

Who Are the Fayetteville Divas?
We are a free empowerment-driven community of women in Fayetteville, NC, dedicated to supporting, uplifting, and promoting local women in business. Our mission is to create genuine connections, provide valuable resources, and help you grow—all while having fun!
How Can I Join?
It’s simple! Show up on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6-8 PM at Blissful Alchemists at 414 Ray Avenue in Fayetteville, NC. No membership fees—just pay for your dinner + tip. Want extra exposure? Bring a prize to showcase your business and leave with new connections!

What Do the Fayetteville Divas Do?
- Support Nonprofits: Each quarter, we raise funds and donations for a local nonprofit.
- Showcase Women in Business: Every month, we feature local women, giving them a platform to share their journey.
- Empower & Educate: We discuss business and personal growth topics to help you thrive.
What Happens at the Monthly Socials?
⏰ 6:00-6:30 PM – Networking & Dinner (everyone pays for their own meal)
⏰ 6:30-7:30 PM – Main Event
- Welcome & Leadership Team Introductions
- 30-Second Commercials – Introduce yourself & your business
- Featured Topic – Business & personal growth insights
- Showcased Divas – Meet amazing women entrepreneurs
- 50/50 Raffle – Support our nonprofit and get a chance to win! Half the proceeds go to charity, and the other half goes to a lucky winner. (Cash preferred; cards accepted)
- Prizes Galore – Bring a business-related prize for the drawing & get a new lead!

Can I Bring My Kids or Teenagers?
Our monthly socials are just for the ladies, so we kindly ask that no one under 18 attends—except for infants under 1 who are still nursing (if mom just can’t get away for two hours!). We encourage you to take this time for yourself—relax, connect, and enjoy some well-deserved girl time with amazing women who are balancing life and business just like you!
If There’s No Membership Fee, Why Should I Pay Online?
Our Diva Directory is an optional feature designed to boost your business visibility and connect you with a wider audience. For just $35/year, you get:

✅ Event Promotion – Add your workshops, sales, or business events to our Divas Event Calendar for more visibility.
✅ Exclusive Deals – List a special offer on our Diva Deals page to attract new customers.

Since we don’t charge membership fees, this small contribution helps cover website costs and allows us to give more back to the nonprofits we support each year.

How Can I Nominate a Nonprofit?
Fill out our form on the Diva Gives Back page. If selected, our Nonprofit Coordinator will reach out to them for an upcoming quarter.
Can I Set Up a Vendor Booth at Your Events?
We don’t offer vendor booths, but we do Showcase Divas each month! Selected Divas will have the opportunity to share their business, speak to the group, and set up a small table to display their products or services. Selection is based on:
1️⃣ Attending at least two meetings
2️⃣ Not having been showcased in the past year
3️⃣ A genuine desire to connect, empower, and grow with our community
